Religion
Although I am not a religious person (my belief is more inclined to agnostic), I have grown up in a family with a strong belief in Catholicism and the importance of faith. I have been able to observe how this faith is a comfort for my family regarding the tragedies that we have to face in life (there is a reason why this happened, now they are resting in peace, things will get better, etc), as sorrows are not "so big" when there is this omnipresent presence that will accompany you the rest of the way and promises you a peaceful rest with your loved ones at the end.
Personally, I can understand how humanity was in need of religion to explain the phenomena that were happening around us before we could explain them by scientific methods and establish values that would encourage living together in a "peaceful" way in their communities through reward or punishment according to our actions (for example the 10 commandments). Compared to how today it is used in their philosophy to seek reconciliation and relief in our conscience, along with the use of hate that some people give it for their own ends or their interpretation of their religion.

Hello! I’m agree with your assessment about religion is like a try for explain some phenomenon. Well, explain more my opinion, we must believe that all the phenomena in our planet it can be explain the scientific method, but I like to think that if we have faith, we can do everything. However, I respect your opinion on this belief 😊
ResponderEliminarHi, I very much agree with you, the perception of religion has changed over the years, before it controlled many factors in the day to day (although there are still religions that are like this), and now I think it is more an orientation of how to live. And as you say, the use of hatred to belittle certain people is a misuse that is given to religion and is something that should change, that is, we are in 2022 there are many things that before were not as frowned upon as they are now.
ResponderEliminarHello, I agree with you, nowadays, religion isn´t practiced as it was 500 years ago, the catholic church persecuted all those who thought differently to their religion and also charged to forgive the sins of the people, the church has lost power in society, it had to adapt to the changes of the generations to stop losing influence.
