HealthCare System and because it is the basis of a country

  As we all know, a country is made up of the people who live in it. That is why I am absolutely convinced that the healthcare system is the pillar to determine the quality of a country. Now hear me out, have you noticed that the countries with a better quality of life have a higher quality of healthcare system, this is not a coincidence. Take Greenland for example, where the overall life expectancy is higher than the world average by 1.4 years (that 's crazy!), and that's because it's free (up to a point), including prescription drugs and other medical supplies. Let's compare with Chile, where we have a mixed health care system, one public (FONASA) and one private (ISAPRE) and where the overall life expectancy is the same as the world average . Did you know? FONASA is ranked by the World Health Organization in 33rd out of 190 countries and ISAPRES cannot be ranked because their care varies according to medical treatment (And you might ask yourself "how, despite ...

Post 4: A time travel to the future

I’m a person who is the dreamy kind, so I really like to imagine the distant future and what will happen with the earth, people, animals, etc. I enjoy talking about the future with my family (even though I’m the pessimistic character) and what we would do to change or make it a little better.  I would love to see how could be the world in the year 3000 (I was really influence for “Futurama” in this decision), to see if the human race can overcome their differences, survive through the adversity that we create with the climate change and make of that a better future or if we just fight for the last resources until we go extinct and the planet carry on without us. Would I like to stay there? Huh, I never thought of staying in another place that was not close to my family. I guess that depending if in that future I could take my family and have the medicine necessary to cure my parents of their illness,  I would take that decision without thinking. I would not stay any other way....

Post 1: A country i would like to visit

  Have you heard about Canada?. Well, put on your seatbelt because I´m going in a full blast ramble. I am eager to go to the country with the maple leaf in their flag, where in some places it will be snowing for almost six months without stopping (It 's really crazy!), and since I'm so fond of the cold, you will understand why I would like to visit it so much.  I want to go to their bustling and lively cities, visit their picturesque small towns, rich with history and cultural attractions (like the CN Tower, Old Quebec, Real Museo BC, Notre-Dame of Montreal and other amazing things).  I will visit several nature reserves, enjoy the stunning sight of the forests and the wildlife. I mean, look this wondrous photo of the aurora: How could you dont want to see it in real life at least one time!      Being true, I really would like to live in this country, because it has a higher average salary, better conditions of life and health compared to my native country...
