Post 2: The Best Concert ever

I haven't attended any concerts yet. Well, that is not true, I didn't attend any concerts that I really liked to this moment.   I went to a little concert with my family (more like a gig) about traditional Chilean music in the Teatro Nescafé de las Artes. I was invited by a corporation to take part in a competition about project innovation, back when I was a senior student in highschool in 2016. I really liked the atmosphere in the theater, there was a big crowd waiting for the staff to look over our wristbands, they all looked really well dressed.  When we have the pass from the staff to enter, we look for our seats in the nearby stalls to the stage. Then at the same time, the lights in the stalls go out and in are the lights in the stage. The band looked really stunning in traditional attire from the north of Chile, carrying instruments like Quijada, Charango, a huge Bombo Nortiño and others that to this day I can't identify. Its music sounds like a party, similar to th...

Post 1: A country i would like to visit

Imagen
Have you heard about Canada?. Well, put on your seatbelt because I´m going in a full blast ramble. I am eager to go to the country with the maple leaf in their flag, where in some places it will be snowing for almost six months without stopping (It 's really crazy!), and since I'm so fond of the cold, you will understand why I would like to visit it so much.  I want to go to their bustling and lively cities, visit their picturesque small towns, rich with history and cultural attractions (like the CN Tower, Old Quebec, Real Museo BC, Notre-Dame of Montreal and other amazing things).  I will visit several nature reserves, enjoy the stunning sight of the forests and the wildlife. I mean, look this wondrous photo of the aurora: How could you dont want to see it in real life at least one time!      Being true, I really would like to live in this country, because it has a higher average salary, better conditions of life and health compared to my native country...

Free topic: Origami

Imagen
Hello everyone, I hope you have a good weekend. This week  I’m gonna talk about my favorite hobby: Origami. Origami is one of my favorite hobbies because you can do it anywhere and anytime you have free time, all you need is a sheet of paper and the desire to learn something new. I know it may sound a bit boring but (and trust me) there is no better feeling than finishing a difficult origami project and seeing your finished work. It won't always look the same as the picture or video you follow the instructions from but according to me that's part of the fun, as you practice more you can see your progress through your finished figures. At first they will end up a little crooked, wrinkled, bumpy, etc, (you know, not perfect), but when you try again they get a little better and so on until they are just how you thought they should look. Now this is not an activity for the easily frustrated, you have to be patient with yourself and the time you need to learn, it is not a skill that...

Education

Hello everyone, I hope you have a great weekend . Today I am going to answer (according to my opinion) the following question: Do private schools offer higher quality education or are they just prestigious? This is a tricky question, since the quality of education does not depend only on the resources that the school can provide to the students, nor how good the teachers are, but also on the vulnerability of the sector in which it is located, not it is the same to teach a student who grew up in a stable and safe environment as one who grows up in a violent and/or poverty environment. Despite this, it can be observed in Chile that from the first steps of the introduction of the educational system to the student (aka the kindergarten) that the one with more resources will have a better education, either because of the extra material and of better quality for study or better study conditions, as we advance in the school system this difference becomes larger and larger (especially mi...

Religion

Hello everyone, i hope you have a good weekend ╰ (▔∀▔) ╯ Although I am not a religious person (my belief is more inclined to agnostic), I have grown up in a family with a strong belief in Catholicism and the importance of faith. I have been able to observe how this faith is a comfort for my family regarding the tragedies that we have to face in life (there is a reason why this happened, now they are resting in peace, things will get better, etc), as sorrows are not "so big" when there is this omnipresent presence that will accompany you the rest of the way and promises you a peaceful rest with your loved ones at the end. Personally, I can understand how humanity was in need of religion to explain the phenomena that were happening around us before we could explain them by scientific methods and establish values that would encourage living together in a "peaceful" way in their communities through reward or punishment according to our actions (for example the 10 comm...
